Hello everyone
I am Matshidiso Precious Pelotshweu from Botswana and aged 24.I have been studying Psychology and English from the University of Botswana and doing some voluntary work on the side. Last year December a friend called me with news about this programme called EVS, and told me it would be a great opportunity to go to a European country and work with an organization for 9months. Of course it was a perfect opportunity for me to explore and see other places and at the same time go beyond what I had been doing. I’m now here in Portugal working with Rota Jovem a great youth association that provides opportunities for young people to put into action all those projects they have been wanting to do but failed due to lack of support. In my past voluntary work I worked a lot with children and now I get to work with the youth and that is different and so exciting. I’m learning a different culture and language which is a great benefit for me as a person. I will definitely have more to tell after a few months so for now ……ciao!
